When you say stalk... Do mean viciously? Or just wants to be around her?

Pets no matter how long you have them can become attached to someone quickly. Your dog could be showing jealous tendencies or protecting you. Kind of like: "Hes mine" behavior. My neighbors dog does that and literally chasings away anyone that goes near the one family member.

If its not in a bad way, then the dog could just like her. If he/she doesn't do anything bad to her, then let it alone. Pets know when a person is good. I know it sounds cliche but its true. They get vibes off people and if your dog likes to follow her, then he/she likes her.

Yorkies are companion dogs. They like to be near their people. Since it is a rescue dog, perhaps the Yorkie was close to a female and your girlfriend reminds her of that person.

I have Yorkie who is sociable with the whole family. However, she is extremely attached to me. I get the most enthusiastic response from her when I walk through the door. I could only be gone 5 minutes and when I return it is like I've been gone for hours. When I come home from being gone several hours, I have to actually pick her up and hole her close to get her to stop whining and jumping up at me. A few moments being held and being able to lay her head on my shoulder is all the fix she needs. If my husband and I are hugging, she tries to jump up and get in the middle of us. She wants to be loved because she is not territorial. She does not growl at anyone who comes near me.

If I sit on the couch, she comes up and sits on my lap. If I lay down on the couch or bed, she has to lay on my stomach. She follows me from room to room. She's content to be in the same room I am when I'm working on something and can't hold her. She'll follow me into the bathroom so I'm not too far out of her sight.

I think your Yorkie had a former attachment to someone whom your girlfriend reminds her of. Sometimes when our Yorkie needs extra attention, we find if we pick her up, pet her, give her hugs, etc. That's all the fix she needs. Then she'll settle down on the floor at my feet or beside me on the couch.

i might want to attempt to discourage this habit each and every time conceivable. As others have said, no longer all frogs are secure for her to eat or %. up and relying on the position you stay a number of them are very poisonous and can want to doubtlessly kill a small dogs. you actually do not ought to rigidity about the bones contained in the mice, notwithstanding mice and different rodents can carry various parasites that your dogs might want to get from eating them (like tapeworms).
