They confuse hell with the Lake of Fire, which is where all whose names arenot in the Lamb's Book of Life, will be cast. Hell itself will also be cast into that Lake.

The word “hell” is found in many Bible translations. In the same verses other translations read “the grave,” “the world of the dead,” and so forth. Other Bibles simply transliterate the original-language words that are sometimes rendered “hell”; that is, they express them with the letters of our alphabet but leave the words untranslated. What are those words? The Hebrew she’ohl′ and its Greek equivalent hai′des, which refer, not to an individual burial place, but to the common grave of dead mankind; also the Greek ge′en·na, which is used as a symbol of eternal destruction. However, both in Christendom and in many non-Christian religions it is taught that hell is a place inhabited by demons and where the wicked, after death, are punished (and some believe that this is with torment).
Does the Bible indicate whether the dead experience pain?
Eccl. 9:5, 10: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all . . . All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol,* the place to which you are going.” (If they are conscious of nothing, they obviously feel no pain.) (*“Sheol,” AS, RS, NE, JB; “the grave,” KJ, Kx; “hell,” Dy; “the world of the dead,” TEV.)
Ps. 146:4: “His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts* do perish.” (*“Thoughts,” KJ, 145:4 in Dy; “schemes,” JB; “plans,” RS, TEV.)

>>>The concept of a fiery hell is based on man's tradition and has no Biblical backing>>>
No Biblical backing? You're gravely mistaken, my friend. See Revelation 20:15. It doesn't get any clearer than that.
Hell is mentioned at least two dozen times in the New Testament -- many of those times by Christ Himself, and many of those times in glowing, uncomfortable detail.
As a practicing Catholic, the one Catholic doctrine that I wish were not true is the one that teaches us that hell is a real place where real people go. Really.

There is a fiery Hell (read your Scriptures) After the wicked are raised, they are consumed by fire. It is temporary, as the Almighty cleanses the earth of sin. The concept of eternal torture is definitely NOT scriptural, but comes from a pagan (or Catholic) source.

It's about time someone said something that makes sense in here! AMEN! Don't worry be happy! Would it not be better to not exist than go to a place like the one we're in now? I like the way you think! We pay now play latter! Peace! Good Question! I don't think that there is a place of eternal torment. That would just be plain evil for God to do.

I read a book called 22 minutes in Hell. It was written by a guy who had an after death experience and was in hell. It was very graphic and it answers a lot of questions. He has backed up his writing with scripture.
Take a read and see if you are also convinced.

You have been talking to too many JW's that is their doctrine. The redefine the word hell to mean the grave, but that is not the meaning. Also you do not quote the teachings of Jesus on hell??? He puts it in plain language..
Mat 18:9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
Luk 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Luk 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Yes it is real and it is that state or place where love is totally absent,it is a a place where everyone there lives folded up within themselves and torn apart by regrets, ther is no relationship among the inhabitants because everyone finds themselves in the most profoundsolitudeand weeps desperately for the evil they did when on earth,it is like a cemetery there.

Like the Hindus say. There are millions of hells. As a hell is
place inside a world created by the magnetic pull of its center, drawing negative spiritual energies to it from the beings that
inhabit that world.
And there are millions of worlds!
