Would the USMC turn away someone that had a history of drug use but not dependency? (Just expreimenting a little through high school)

Doubt it, they may do so if you have criminal charges on your record, but once you turn 18 your juvenille record should be negated.

No, they will not. You will sign some waiver. I'm not sure what the waiver is for, as I have never done any drugs. You will be U/A'd at MEPS each time. And, you will be U/A'd when you get to boot camp.
If you are positive on any of them, you will either not be allowed to go to boot camp, or if you pop when you get there, you will be sent home.
After that, I am pretty sure no branch of the military will ever accept you.

No, they've done it themselves! They wouldn't believe me when I told them I never smoked pot. I don't know why, but I knew A LOT of female AND male Marines that smoked weed before. They'll just give you a waiver, especially if you've changed your ways and are serious about being a good Marine.

if it was not recorded and only you know then i assume you should be OK, although i had to confess to some usage myself they give you a slip which excuses your usage. But after your paper work is done don't mess up and start using again its happened to people i know.

I beleive it depends upon whether or not you were charged and proven guilty in court, otherwise, i don't think they will know about it

As long as you have no medical ( Put into an asylum or rehab ) Charges, probation etc.....Smoke a little...Shhhhh!!!
