Yes, there are lts of ways to help. As you're so young, your skin might even out in time anyway. But yes, go for a foundation if it makes you feel better. It can feel good.

Luckily there are lots of products designed especially for your problem. You have probably heard about these whitening ranges on the market, they are actually for dealing with uneven skin tones resulting from things such as pigmentation, not for whitening the skin Michael Jackson style! The Body Shop has a range called Moisture White and Shiseido has the UV White line-up. So you should look out for anything that claims to ‘whiten’, you can even get masks and other treatment items along with the regular cleansers and moisturisers. Also it’s absolutely essential that you wear an SPF of at least 30 everyday, winter or summer, as the sun will cause more pigmentation.

You can ask your Dermatogist about using Hydroquinone to even out the pigmentation on your skin. You are awfully young - so I don't what their guidelines are for age when using this product, but from all the research I have ever done, hydroquinone is hands down the best way to tackle pigmentation problems.
You can get 2% preparations at most drug stores I think, but need a prescription for 4% formulations.

You could buy some soap called "black soap" it's not only for black people, that's just the name of it. It comes from Africa and is all natural. If you use that it will definitely even out your skin after a while.
I hope this helps, also make sure you buy the pure kind, either from the internet or from someone who sells it personally. Not the kind from the box. The kind from the box might work, but I have never tried it and the natural one is more pure and better for your skin.

Use L'Oreal True Match foundation and loose powder over it.. You can get it by Jane, it is called Loose Translucent Powder. Apply a moisturizer before, and then put a light amount of foundation on and then the loose powder, so it wont look cakey. If you use pressed powder (the kind in the little compacts with the mirror) your face will look very caked on. Use loose powder and get a good foundation that covers. I like L'Oreal True Match or Maybelline.
