A one night stand is not a relationship because it's only for one night with someone you don't know and probably met at a club or bar. A discreet relationship is exactly what it is. It's either long or short term with someone you know, but it's continuous and on the down low. A discreet relationship can be with a co-worker where there is a strict fraternization policy in place. Or it could be with your land lords wife or husband. A discreet relationship can be considered taboo if it's with a family member, same sex, or of the opposite race, depending on how friends and family feel about it.

No cause i had a discreet relationship with a male and the only time that we saw each other was at night. It lasted for 3 years and I was in love with him and he was not with me. Then it didn't turn into a real relationship and I had to end it cause I wanted more and he didn't. And most of the time one nighters are with different people. Hope that helps. Have a good one.

One nite stands are a no no, being discreet is hiding and if you have to hide then what good is it.
