Remember the small things like her favorite foods, color, scent. Plan a romantic picnic ( if it's cold where you are...make it indoors on a blanket on the floor). And wow her with your charm. She'll love the fact that you remember all those things about her. Get em tiger! Good Luck!

First of all consider the type of girl she is, and base your proposal on that. Some girls want to be the center of ALL attention when it happens, others in an intimate situation perhaps with family or friends present, maybe no one but you two. If she finds humor in life, maybe plan something funny.
Ex: say you two loved to play basketball. take her out for a game of one on one or something. fake a fall and when she comes to your aid hold out a ring and ask her your question. OR write on a basketball "will you marry me" and pass it to her or something like that.
One last thought, remember people are going to ask her "how did he propose?" so think of some way that she wouldn't feel embarassed to tell people.
Best of luck!

My husband proposed to me at a french restaurant in the center of the candelit room. There was applause , he was on one knee and it was amazing. We women on an occasion like that like to be the center of attention that night. I have a couple of ideas: you could go traditional with a limo or carriage ride and dinner or set a moonlit picnic area by the water or plan a pretend party for someone and make it seem like you got an invitation for you guys to go when all along you are the one planning it. You have to throw her off a little. Include her friends and family and make sure they all pretend to have something else going on that night. That way she never knows until it is time. Get on one knee in front of the people you both love and care about.

My husband proposed to close to Christmas and wrapped my ring up like a present. Sometimes the perfect moment comes when you least expect it. You might have it planned out completely and something else happens. Good luck and Congratulations!

Make it memorable! My husband proposed to me on a pirate ship. And we got married on the beach. Ok, there may not be pirate ships around where you live or not but you get the idea. Make it super special. We just did this, for our 30th wedding anniversary. And renewed our vows. So it just keeps getting better!

Please don't put it in her food!!!!! It is not romantic to choke on a ring, nor is it fun to be picking crumbs out of the setting for the next week.
Think of her interests, your memorable moments as a couple, a place she loves to be, or something she dreams of doing. Then think of some way to get her there & make it special.
This is a story she'll be telling all of her friends, over & over, for months & years, so make it a good one!

If u are going to purpose i would say come up with something really romantic and very sweet. Like maybe go out to eat and put the ring in some kind of food where the ring is visable so she/he wont eat it! But u really should come up with something u think she/he will like.

It completely depends on the girl- some girls love it when it's a huge spectacle involving tons of family and friends, other girls would hate that.
You could take her to where you met, or on a short trip.
In all likelihood, she'll just be so happy you asked that the how won't matter that much.

well if you want to propse to someone you should know them well enough to know what will really surprize them and make them happy. if you can't come up with an idea of that then maybe you should rethink this whole marriage thing. maybe even try to pry her friends for answers...maybe they once had a conversation about their "dream proposal" and her friends will be able to tell you about it.

You could do it the old fashioned way-on one knee, or, just sitting next to her, the two of you alone somewhere-pop the question, and if you have the ring, pull it out of your pocket, put it on her finger! Take care.
