You need to let your insurance company hash out the details and obtain a lawyer if necessary.

You should not be penalized if the claim is paid under uninsured motorist. If you are, you need to file a complaint with your state's insurance commissioner.

Based upon my experience, unfortunately there is little you can do. If the person had no insurance, you can collect the repair amount from your insurance company, assuming you have collision coverage. Of course, you'll have to pay the deductable.

Iif you don't have collision coverage, you are on your own - though you can check with your company and see if there is any special waiver for accidents caused by uninsured.motorists. But, the chances of that are probably low.

Other than that, it's just another way in which you help pay the ever growing cost of illegal immigration.

But ... think of that dime you save every time you buy a head of lettice!

Good luck!

well my sister was stuck with thousands of dollars in medical bills when some illegals ran over her son leaving him with a mangled leg ,and there was nothing she could do . i was hit by a truck of some illegals once they gave me a hard time saying they could fix my car i said no thanks i will wait for the cops to get here he got very nervous and almost demanding he could fix it no again over and over and that since i was a woman i knew nothing lol . he then gave me a paper on a receipt that he had that was supposed to be his insurance so when the cop came and gave him a ticket after he examined everything he told me his insurance which was different than what he wrote on the paper. the cop told me to keep that paper, but that his insurance should take care of it since it was his fault he also told me he has had a lot of wreaks so it shouldn't be a problem well the guy had the nerve to take me to court when the judge saw the paper with the fake insurance in his hand writing ,and the receipt was at a store in his neighborhood he was laughed out of court. if i took his word on that paper i would have been screwed . the scary part is the new laws in my town is if its not person injured the police will no longer come out. you must exchange info between yourselfs so you had better have a camera with you at all times when you are driving but that still wont protect you from fraud and so insurance companies will have to raise their rates so we will be paying again for this mess.

Well,,this is why alot of Americans are fed up with the illegal problems.Did you call the law? Even they cant do much cause its racist to make illegals obey the law. You will just have to report it to your insurance as a hit and run more than likely. And possibly pay higher insurance rates like the rest of Americans. Its the politically correct thing to do. Pay higher taxes for illegals, watch your insurance go up,your childrens education fall, your prisons fill up...well be glad your identity wasnt stolen too.Hopefully you have a good job or they will take that too,but by gosh dont be racist.

well from what I have seen before they usually get out and scatter. My wife was hit a few years ago and they all jumped out of the car and ran. we were left having to pay for our car as at the time we only had liability ins on it. we had no recourse what so ever. The Police could do nothing but tow their car away as the plates were invalid and the car was stolen.

You get to pay for it since the illegal doesnt have insurance or a driver license. It probably isnt even his car.

Pray your insurance rates don't go up since they most likely will not have a driver's license or insurance. Forget about suing them. You might win but you won't get any money and they won't be deported.

I will make sure that he/she pays or they will not like my wrath.

I will call immigration and have them arrested.

Put your claim into your insurance company and let them sort it out.
