18 and not younger,as someone else said with parental permission you can get one well you can't,I'm a tattooist just ask any tattooist they will tell you the same.

Candyfloss is right, I'm doing a campaign for schools at the moment with tattoo artists and it's all about this subject. Hopefully it may take off one day and soon. It's 18. No consent.

18, and from what i have been told from many tattoo artist 16 as long as you have a parents agreement.
Its the same as getting a peircing. good luck. x
