Why do human beings continuously bypass from "Is .... a sin" to "Will .... bypass to hell"? certain, gluttony and sloth are sins. overweight everybody isn't all gluttons and slothful. Whe i become gluttonous, i could not get myself over 130 5 kilos. Now that i'm no longer so gluttonous, i'm suffering to get down from one hundred seventy 5 kilos. So various it has to do with the way our bodies artwork. Gluttonous Christians received't bypass to hell. Neither will Christians who smile (a form of gluttony) or who've stocks in organizations that abuse the employees in undesirable countries (considering fabric organizations). yet they could ought to respond to to God about it.

Yes, but you seem to be confusing sins with going to hell. Will all people who gossip go to hell? Are all people who are fat necessarily gluttonous and/or slothful? Jesus said "Judge not". Does that mean you will go to hell for judging those people? I don't think so.

Yes they are still sins. The seven deadly sins are as follows: luxuria (extravagance, later lust), gula (gluttony), avaritia (avarice/greed), acedia (sloth), ira (wrath), invidia (envy), and superbia (pride/hubris).

We exist in an age of self absorbtion, and one of the symptoms is obesity.

anything that is in excess or that you put before God is sin. None of those sins will send you to hell. Not receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior is the sin that will send you to hell

Are they "still" sins? its not like sins have an expiration date. I believe they are sins when they are done in extremes. the reason they are considered deadly sins is because the more you do them the worst the habit gets. just do them in moderate amounts.

LOL, OK...but you have to admit, obesity has become a problem for all Americans, not just Christians.
I think this has something to do with the false god, Ronald McDonald, and his followers......
