Depends on your bank and the ATM.

When you use an ATM that is not from your bank, they will tell you how much the service fee is on top of the fees your bank charges, and gives you a last chance to cancel the transaction.

It varies a lot depending on who owns it. Most bank-owned ones will only charge $2-3; plus your bank's charge for using someone else's ATM of course. Some privately owned ATMs (at bars, casinos, etc) however may charge much more. I once got hit for $10.00 at a "Gentleman's Club". Always check before using one away from a bank to avoid getting stung.

I believe there could be 2 charges. 1) Your bank could charge you a fee for using a different bank and 2) The ATM bank can charge you another fee for not being a member. Usually these charges are around $2

It depends on the institution that provides the ATM. Some (usually credit unions) charge nothing.

By law, the fee has to be posted on the machine or provided on the screen before the transaction is done.

Depends on the ATM and your bank. Most of them charge around $2.50- $4.00, and the back charge you a similar fee as well.

confident. often times i run right into a gas station or a save that has an atm and as quickly as I take money out the economic corporation costs me simply by fact i'm no longer applying their ATM. So in different words the save would not fee you, however the economic corporation does.

look for a sticker on the ATM, it will tell you the exact amount it varies but averages 3 dollars. sometimes it won't tell you until your almost done with the transaction, but you can opt out.

I've seen it as high as $2.50, but most of the time it's $1.50 where I have used an alien ATM.
