Wikipedia says "Ottoman Sultan Suleiman I sealed off the Golden Gate in 1541, allegedly to prevent the Messiah's entrance. The Muslims also built a cemetery in front of the gate, allegedly in the belief that the precursor to the Messiah, Elijah, would not be able to pass through, since he is a Kohen."

(Kohen were supposedly the direct descendent of Aaron, brother of Moses. Part of their rules said that they could have no direct contact with dead bodies, as in walking through a cemetary.)

So you see, the seal was put in a long time ago, modern Arabs certainly did not seal the Gate, nor do they believe it will keep out the Son of God.

he wont come through any gate friend he will decend from the heavens!
(Matt.23:27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

29 "Immediately after the distress of those days "`the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'
30 "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.
31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Doesn't this sound like a Dungeons and Dragons Question? Does anyone really believe in a Golden Gate sealed by men to keep back the most powerful and omnipotent being in the universe. Don't you feel stupid asking a question like this? Does your emerald sword have plus 16 damage points?
