I have never had a boyfriend, (i am not in my teens or 20's!) and i am begining to think there is something up with me. I have had sex but not the 'relationship' When all, and i mean ALL, your friends have someone, kids etc, you begin to feel like a circus exhibit, i am thier 'single friend' Are there any Lawrence Dallaglio types in the midlands who want to have a drink with me?

maybe you should try a different continent maybe your soul mate lives in a different part of the world, also try changing your circle of friends for ones that are also single, I don't mean that you should not see your old friends from time to time, but with new friends that are single you may not be the circus exhibit any more.

If is any consolation I know how you feel, I'm a 33 year old male I never had a girlfriend, I used to think there must be something wrong with me, may be I'm not attractive enough,to short,too fat,wears glasses,too stupid..etc. I now just shut up keep my head down and live out each day as it comes,I am no way the best of looking of men but if something should happen then it happens but I am not really that bothered.
Sorry I am not a Lawrence Dallaglio look alike.

Lots of my friends are single because the choose to be. They enjoy sex with part-time boyfriends but don't want a relationship. If you do want to have and keep one, try making them wait for sex and don't be a desperado. Enjoy being single for a start off as that will make you very attractive. If you meet someone nice don't be too available straight away. And please don't give it up the moment they ask for a date. Sure, men will have the sex but then they think thats all you have to offer.

I know how you are feeling. I have had one serious relationship and I have been single for far to long. I met my soul mate, but he doesn't see me as girlfriend material (long story). Don't worry, you will find someone. Just focus on other things in your life. If your "smug married" friends start bugging you about being single, just tell them that you are happy being single and tell them to mind their own business. Your love life isn't theirs. Rent Bridget Jones's Diary. It's a great, great chick flick and I love to watch it whenever I am in a lonely mood. You get some good come back lines for your friends! "What's the divorce rate now? Is it one and three or one and four?" Gets me every time!

I'm in my 50's an never had a girlfriend or even boyfriends.But I enjoy my life being single. Your life is very precious. Try to find an interest or hobby to keep your mind off your problem. I volunteer to help in the community to help seniors. I'm a living tissue donor from blood, to bone marrow, and liver donations. I'm a virgin but very happy knowing I didn't harm any women and disgrace their families. That why I'm needed as a blood and tissue donor no sexual diseases in my systems. Try to enjoy being single and love yourself better OK.

maybe you have been so lonely for long that when you think you have the right person you immediately jump to the gun because you are so lonely. Slow way down, if you can meet a man and make the two of you wait for "it" then it will last longer than you can expect.

maybe you're an independant women who doesnt need the husband and 2.5 kids and a dog scenario. maybe that's just who you are deep down or maybe you'll change in awhile. just go with who you are and what you feel at the time, all people go through different seasons of what they want and need and maybe you just have different wants and needs. stay open minded and enjoy your life wherever you are in it - life could still surprise you...
