Sartre said, "Take responsibility of your choices and actions." We should not accept the way we are shown, but choose our own way. There are many Chrisitans that have spent a lot of time examining Christianity and realized that it is the way to choose. The unexamined life is not worth living and it is presumptuous to assume that anyone who examines the religion will decide that it is ridiculous. That is often not the case. None of us are objective but our presumptions affect our beliefs. Unfortunately science has fallen prey to this fact. There are many facts that prove macro-evolution, but those same facts can be used to disprove macro-evolution. It is a matter of using our pre-suppositions to decide. No one disagrees with micro-evolution. I appreciate your question.

Can someone link me Socrates quotes? Anyway ignorance creates fear. Aggression becomes the only way to live in fear. I guess hatred and selfishness are the evils that Socrates speaks of.
