Sure it is, only if the relationship is genuine. Just because of an age difference doesn't make things worst. misunderstandings and problems are unavoidable, plus that is what makes the relationship stronger. You need something to fight for to build the relationship. I'm not rushing things but if you ever planned to marry him, you need to go through problems to make the relationship last through a life time. There is nothing bad about having problems but just the way you handle them. The key is communication so if you can communicate with him and he can communicate thoroughly to you then try it. I'm 23 and my girl is 19. Been together 2 years and strong, still going. Just takes time, patience, understanding, and communication. Along with that other stuff. I hope this helps. Take care and God bless.

I don't think there will be any problems if both of the individuals had a strong bond before they started dating. It just seems like the guy should be careful because the girl will be at a different place in her life, going to college and what not, while the guy is still in high school. The girl will(don't take this wrong) have more chances to meet another guy. (because of the parties and what not.) hope this helps.

Sure why not. It's not a big deal. Only a two year difference. If you think about it, would it really be an issue if you were 25 and he was 23. Just because he is 17 doesnt make it a bigger difference!

yes b/c age doesnt matter unless ur 13 and dating a 22 year old man then it will matter. but when u grow up and thats IF you get married with him then if you 43 and he;s 41 it totally wont matter i mean u dont always have to be the same age as the person ur dating

it's only two years, and both of them are probably around the same maturity level, so it will work out like any other relationship. Just because she's 2 years older than him it doesn't guarantee problems, they could be perfect for each other...

At your age I think its fine.I've dated guysfrom 8 years younger to 23 years younger than me, and most of them, I've stayed good friends with. My fiancee is 10 years younger than me, but at your age, 2 years difference is not going to cause people to talk about you.

No, because it's adult rape , if haveing intercorse, but I think it's wrong, if they were both 18 that is fine. And if that goes on, they girl can get years in jail for child rape.
