Ok, listen. If you're going to get a girl a present, get her something like jewelry once in a while. Then it will mean so much more to get something so special occasionally, instead of getting something often. Also, being female, I think flowers die away and wilt... therefore representing out relationship. If a guy bought me jewelry, he'd have to work a little harder, and jewelry can't die. I would not say I HATE to get flowers... But it feels really unoriginal, and like just a "back up present". Good luck buddy.

I love getting flowers because its at least i know he thought about me, they may die but the are gorgeous while they last, a girl may not like flowers because she may be allergic to them, wants you to spend a ton of money, or has had a bad experince regarding flowers from guys.

Yes, because they take up counter space
and you have to put them in water immediately (annoying)
and a waste of money when they will die anyways !
Don't get me wrong flowers are nice occasionally just would rather have something shiny !

Yes, they depress the crap out of me, it reminds me of a funeral.
The only flowers I'm happy with getting are sun flowers or daises.

I don't hate it. I mean I wouldn't be all "I hope I get flowers" either. They are just going to die in a few days anyway.

yes, because they die and then I have nothing to remember valentine's day (or whatever occasion)... I also don't like getting chocolate, but at least you can eat that...
oh, and for that one girl who answered above me who said any girl who says yes probably hasn't got flowers, my fiance gives me flowers at least every valentine's day, sometimes on other occasions.. even though he knows i don't like getting them... i still appreciate that he buys them for me, but I would rather his money go to something else.
