girlfriend trouble?

I knew that my girlfriend loved skiing, so to show her that i would do anything that she liked to do i asked if she wanted to go skiing, even though i had no prior expirience. so we get there and i figure out that i'm the worst skiier on the planet, and i cant even walk in my ski's. so we somehow make our way to the bunny hill and i go down that, and fall alot. well i'm getting pissed at myself by this point so i tell her to go down some of the big hills with her friends and i'll try to figure out how to ski. so she does, and then while she's gone i watch a girl my age coming down from the big hill smash her face onto concrete and break her nose. so my girlfriend comes down and wants me to go on the big hill and i say no way, because i cant ski as it is and i just watched that girl break her nose. so after we left she got pissed and said that i dont trust her, and that i didn't attempt anything. i feel like i did try something, and i played it safe. so how can i get her not pissed?

Just tell her that it was your first time skiing and you weren't ready to go down the big hill. Also tell her that you fell so many times on the bunny hill and you didn't want to fall down the big one because of the girl who broke her nose. She should understand. If she doesn't she isn't the girl for you and she seriously has issues telling someone who never went skiing before to go down the big hill. Good Luck.
