SAD!! REALLY SAD. You might have lost a relationship.

Or a very important friendship.

Sure, we all win at times and lose others. But, to lose shows weakness to an opponent. I have been in many fights and unlike most, I can admit to losing. The first time I said "I lost" crushed my ego. I only thought of the rematch, thinking of my new strategy. As I have aged a bit in mentality, I realized pride is pointless. I will not lie to you, it is still there pecking away at my wounded egos of past. Still though, I respect that those who beat me, did so with skill and strategy. However, I will never admit that those who beat me could do so again. We will just call that the spirit of a fighter. What happens once, may not certainly happen again.

Agreed, I know when I'm outclassed, but I'm always proud to be a boxer, knowing I tried my hardest. The only time losing really bothers me is when I feel or know that I've one, but the judges apparently don't...I've felt for awhile that it is a corrupt system...The most important thing to me is how the fight went, I've lost fights before and been happier than ones I've won, just because we had a battle in the ring, and we both knew it and have respect for each other.

You are right my friend.I have not been in that many fights but the ones I lost,I always put a hurting on the other guy.So even though he won,he usually did not come back for more.

what kind of fights are we talking about? fist fights? no, i do not get into those. i'm liable to kill someone. i would never get into a physical fight with someone unless i meant to FINISH it, know what i mean? there's no point otherwise. and...verbal or whatever...no, to me the fight isn't over until i win. i may lose battles, but the fight goes on until i win. but that's just me, i'm a little crazy about stuff.

like you said, I really don't mind as long as I've tried my hardest....although I do notice that when I lose I replay the fight much more, and notice the small things I could have done better (shifted my hips here, tried a shoot there, etc.)
