You need to add more fibre to your diet to ease the constipation however that might aggrevate the farting problem. Maybe something in your diet disagrees with you like dairy products. Try eliminating some things to see what it is that is upsetting your system.

Maybe a change in your diet try adding fiber through eating more vegatables, fiber supplements. Also an over the counter stool softener like Colace might be in order. How old are you?? Are you on any other medications??

Prune juice, applesauce, more fruit, grains, beans and fiber for foods for constipation or over the counter med at drugstore.
Beano or GasX (simethecone) for gas.

drink alot of water. fiber is effective as well but for a quick fix in a day or two drink plenty of water and fluids...

don't eat garlic, seafood, or beans... those usually make me fart like crazy!!! and stinky ones too...
