It usually takes the average persons body 1 hour to process and get rid of 1 unit of alcohol ( 1 pint = 2 units) so it would depend a lot on how much you drank and weather you had food with the alcohol.

Good question... What I've learned so far is that the liver can only go so-far and when it can't go any farther it shuts down which results an in imbalance of blood pressure. Blood to the liver is diverted and the resulting high pressure begins to break the most vulnerable vessels"cheeks and then neck?" at will. The"function" test is akin to Kidney tests in that "clearance and volume" determine general health.Enzime release and I.D. narrow organ disfunction.24 hours of acute monotoring tell the "tale".

Liver function tests do not test for alcohol. They test for substances that show damage to the liver. Alcohol is one reason that these substances (transaminases) can be elevated, but there are other reasons as well.
Blood alcohol tests show how much alcohol is in the blood. Once you've metabolized the alcohol, it won't show up.
