I believe that everybody can be born with the same potential.. However, depends what your mom did with when you were pregnant. But I also think it depends on how much effort we put, but prodigies would be a whole different story.

Mother never drank, smoked while pregnant with me and I think that helped in my development of my brain.

Hell, by the age of 7 years...I was building my own rockets with Saltpeter and sugar and sulfar for my Rocket Fuel.

If I could make a Rocket that would get more than 10 ft in the Air it was a success. Then at the age of 12 Imy attempt to get the largest Rocket in my history to fly made form fiber glass and ply wood went wrong and became a disaster. Using match heads for thrust power I created a bomb instead.

I used plastic pipe for my jet chambers.
It stood 6 ft tall and 1 1/2 ft wide.

When I ignited the fuse all the kids in the neighborhood hid behind the house. Instead of my Rocket taking off, it exploded knocking out windows on my house and my neihghbors house for a 1/4 block.
The MP's arrived and I was arrested . There was a 3 ft gap hole in the yard and my Father wondered what in the hell was worng with me.
I had to see a Pyschiatrist. I was found to be normal, but a kis scientist that failed to study combustion under pressure....lol

No. There are significant differences in potential based on both heredity and prenatal environment. There's quite a lot than can be done with nurture, but current theory says that at least 50% of our cognitive potential or "intelligence" is already set at birth.

when born no, it all depends on what your mother did while she was pregnant with you and everyone does not have the same potential for learning either.... There are just some things that some people will never be able to do or understand no matter how hard they try at it, it's just life

As far as I can tell, we are all born with some capabilities in common; however, there is clearly a wide range of intelligence that is considered "normal." Every person is different; that includes brains as well as appearance.

We all have the same potential (with the exception of those severly disabled of course.) After the effects of genetics and enviornment are through with us.

I was unable to learn for many years and traditional time restraints and lessons in school frustrated me terribly I couldn't cope at all, and therefore didn't... With time and patience even despite all of my learning challenges and background and poor dip in the gene pool... I now have a mensa IQ. (not that an IQ test or score is worth anything really but you know what I mean.)

Believe me, the kinds of people that disagree, are usually those that are less able to share the intellectual spotlight. most doctors don't like to believe that a construction worker could do what they did or as well as they do it...

It kind of takes away from their efforts and accomplishments and makes them less special... So they act human and laugh at the idea and dispute it when they honestly don't want to realize that it is possible.

It may be slightly harder for some than others, but anyone can do anything, with a base intellectual aptitude anyone can go through medical school or anything else and succeed. It is true!

Einstein failed Math in school numerous times in his education...and was told that he would never ammount to anything.

Yes, i believe everybody is smart. However, each and every person has a specialty a calling a contract that when they reach the point of awareness and loose the defendor "ego" intelligence will reign. The course to total awareness is total enlightment which means getting rid of the garbage of our thinking i.e. greed, dishonesty etc. Try truth to get smart.
