ROTFL

Of course, I've never been one for the whole "Evolution versus Genesis" thing (I mean really, talk about false alternatives — that's like saying Football Players versus Economists, they're in two completely different domains), but that's got to be the best response I've heard to the old misinfomed "monkeys" argument.

The interesting thing about the evolution equivalent is that in a way there *are* no monkeys anymore of the sort people descended from — but of course, extincion of ancestors is still not an actual requirement of descent (just as there are still wolves even though some of them "evolved" into dogs).

There are still dust and clay because the intelligent God needed only a very small amount to create intelligent God fearing humans. But the way this world is going , there are going to be a lot more dust and clay from unbelievers who die without inheriting eternal life.

Hi there!
I read Genesis 2:7 and it said "God made man".Not humans. It means that only the first people he created were from dust and after that, man was expected 2 reproduce like other living things.
If that answer wasnt logical enough, check dis out...... When people die, they go back to being dust and clay. this sort of recycles the dust i guess. besides the deserts seem to be a natural resevoir there by God to pevent depletion of clay n dust. i hope u are satisfied

i get it but its a little different. we evolved from a common ancestor of monkeys; we didn't evolve from the monkeys that exist today. also i think many people believe we morphed into humans while really, the individual itself never changes only the generations do bringing about a gradual change in how the organism comes to look. we didn't evolve from dust and clay into humans. same as if we use wood to build houses, the wood doesn't disapear.

He didn't make ALL humans from dust and clay, only one, der.

If monkeys turned into humans, why are there still monkeys?

it didn't say she used all of it

but we do tend to decompose into organic cadavre matter over time

we can still make stuff, you and I, from this

look around, see what else modern people are creating today

and, observe that religion is still evolving to match the science that is changing our knowledge and culture

A hurricane went through my sand pit yesterday, but it didn't create a human being. Guess I'll just have to go back to believing in evolution.
