I have had to send someone texts today I am not stringing him along only have lots going on at the minute and just don't want to talk to anyone so if it is someone who you really think is stringing you along then I would text them just saying don't want to know you think carefully before you do something you may regret sorry can't think of anything witty

Seriously don't text this guy cut him dead! The more you text the worse you will feel. There will be a battle going backwards and forwards. A waste of time effort and money if you ask me. I have found if you leave him to stew he will come running!

Throw their non-committal in their face. If they invite you someplace, say "well, maybe if I'm not busy" or "if I think of it." Just be a snot; you will be able to think of something suitably cutting, don't worry your head about that!
