Yes, I use honey & oatmeal.
[Oatmeal is a natural emulsifier "softener", and it is VERY GENTLE on the skin, though it scrubs the poors very well without damaging.]

Get some regular oatmeal in the tall container, add 1/4 cup honey & 1/8 cup oatmeal [powder it in a blender before adding]. This is a GREAT face scrub!!! [You can also powder 1 or 2 almonds in it, but don't add too much or it will irritate your skin.]
RINSE WELL.

Also after you rinse it off? Use 1/4 cup witch hazel with 1/8 cup lemon juice as a leave on splash. This will ALSO prevent blemishes, as well as refresh your face!

Then apply 1 or 2 capsules of Vitamin E oil & leave on. Vitamin E oil is for the skin, it gives your skin the natural oils it needs to grow healthier.

For a SUPER REJEUVINATING body scrub, try 1 cup powdered milk with 1/2 cup oatmeal. This will cleanse your poors & refresh your skin. Leaving it smooth & silky! Simply scrub with it, then soak in the water that it has been added to after you use it to scrub.

And DON'T forget to light incense while you soak, to relax your mind & body even more.

We ladies need to PAMPER ourselves! :) It reduces STRESS & Depression.

NOTE on another post: Do NOT use Sea Salt on your face, it can IRRITATE it badly, and scar your face if you scrub with it. Sea salt is too coarse to use as a face scrub. ALSO if you got sea salt in your eyes? OH MAN would THAT HURT!

ALSO ... olive oil is good but it is better if you take it orally [1 tsp per day, unless you cook with it regularly], instead for your face TRY Vitamin E oil as I posted.

AS FOR sand? You would want to REALLY work it down to a more powdery substance. You could use a VitaMix if you have one for that, but a regular blender I have found does not break it down enough and it can ruin the blender blades.

This what you do.
Get some sand and then melt down a few bars of soap in a pot on low heat.
Then add the sand, but not too much just enough to saturate it.

Then pour the soap out in a mold or cup and let it cool down.
I have been doing this for 10 years and just recently started selling my product. I call it the "Sandstone Soap"
It cleans your skin and dirt at the same time and if you melt down some Oil of Olay soap with dial anti-bactrial soap...it is a cool feeling when you get out of the shower. Your skin is so soft.
