For those that hone in on the fact that evolution is missing pieces. Of course it is:
You and I walk up on a murder scene. We question for witnesses, gather evidence, take pictures, think of motives, look for reason(gunshot, blunt trauma, knife, drugs, etc.). We gather all the evidence and come to a conclusion. Your conclusion is drugs, mine is gay lover. You think gunshot, I think broom handle(puncture).
We have different conclusions, but does that mean that a murder did not happen. Either could be right, there are gaps that we do not know about. More evidence is needed. Autopsy, talking to more witnesses, family.
Evolutionist may disagree on the 'why' things happen, but they never disagree on them happening at all. Why the murder REALLY happened, we may never know, but a murder did take place. Why or how evolution actually happened, we still do not know exactly, but needless to say, evolution did happen.

Good point.

I'm going to use this one!

The only problem is that it works for Creationism (as in belief in a literal reading of Genesis), which I consider conclusively falsified. Unfortunately it doesn't work for those Intelligent Design adherents who accept the evidence. IDers and Evolutionists both accept the murder: that the species of plants and animals on earth have changed over the millenia. They differ on the methodology of the murder. One says its natural selection, the other says its er, "something else" (they don't want to say God because that'll give the game away!). Now with natural selection we can show it at work in the present day, mostly with the action of humans on animal breeding. With ID we have a big fat zip - they can't show it, they have no mechanism. But this is still less than a complete victory for evolution,

What do you mean it happens? There is nothing new under the sun. It is not a question of whether it happen, evolution means evolving into something else. A seed evolves into a plant' a baby evolves eventually into an adult. But man did not come from a monkey, if so, there would be no monkeys because they would all be evolved into humans. I believe God's theory that He made man from the dust of the ground and breathed the spirit of life into the body and it became a living soul. Just like mankind found out that the world is not flat, and you can not fall off of it. You have listened and believed white lies for so long till it is understandable why you believe what you believe.

O.K. We agree up to the point where you say evolution happened. All we know, according to your analogy is that a murder happened. All we know is that we are all here somehow. We should be open to all possibilities of how we got here, and not restrict it to evolution of some type.

What if you happened upon a chess board in the middle of the woods? Daily you notice that the pieces are moved, but since there is no one else in the woods as far as you are concerned, you restrict yourself to explanations that don't involve people. So you theorize wind, rain, animals, etc. I think evolutionists restrict themselves to processes that don't allow for God.

No. What you mean to say is this:

Why or how CREATION actually happened, you still do not know exactly, but needless to say, CREATION did happen.

Your logic sounds extremely ignorant, full of holes, and, honestly, foolish.

Don't believe everything you hear. With that kind of thinking, you'll start believing the "Weekly World News."

If you see an airplane fly behind a building and then emerge from the other side, you obviously conclude that it is the same airplane.
