First thing I would say is the less you fiddle around with different creams and lotions and stuff, the better. Try and keep it simple. Swapping from one treatment to another, can actually cause breakouts. Try not to touch your face too much, and eat as fresh as you can. Stay away from chips, lollies, and fries and chocolate (if you can) They say that chocolate doesn't cause pimples but believe me it, does. Another factor is of course hormones, your doctor can control breakouts with medication.
So there is a whole heap of reasons why you get acne and not just one cure-all. Stress, and lack of exercise and too much sun, can be added to the list. I know it sounds overwhelming, but it's really not that bad. Look at it this way, with your skin type, You'll be one of those people who will stay looking much younger than most other people. Wash your face no more than twice a day and dilute what you use, and most importantly rinse and rinse again, and don't leave foundation on your face overnight.

Tea Tree oil works really well. You can either find it in a tube with swab at The Body Shop or go to an all natural store and buy the essential oil.

Is the acne just once in a while or all the time? Acne during menstrual period is normal. Sometimes, certain food in your diet also cause acne like junk food and oily food like peanuts. Acne is also a normal occurrence during puberty.

one of the hard things about acne is that there's so many products to try. i've probably tried like 20 different products, until i settled on a product called beautiful skin. it's a whole regimen that, in my opinion, works better than proactiv.

that happened to me too and i kno it sux. maybe try and use proactive or another really good skin care set. try using nice soothing masks at night. u can find some for like a dollar at walgreens. and find some nice and easy make up thats oil free, light on the face and helps prevent acne (i think cover girl has one, almay is good too!) it sux i know, but i really hope this helps!

go to a dermatologist. you don't have to have horrible acne to go to one. tell them that you have tried all kinds of over the counter stuff and it didn't work. prescription stuff is the best.
it takes about a month to see results.
differin creme is good.
so is benzaclin, but ask for it in a pump

Believe me, pro-active works like a charm. I know a friend who used it and her acne cleared up like magic.

Also, remember to drink lots of water.

Good luck
