I have a black mini schnauzer female that I named "Harlie Schay" I got the Schay from the "Sch" in schnauzer..I did some research on German words and German names...I kind of just made up the Schay..But I did a dictionary look up German to English or English to German..It will tell you different words and their meanings..Maybe you can find a name meaning "big" or "black" or something else to fit your dog..Good luck!!

I thought Adolph was a cool name it's German and means "noble, majestic wolf". And it's a German and Swedish royal and saint name.

Adolph has 13 variant forms: Ad, Addolf, Addolph, Adolf, Adolfo, Adulfus, Adollf, Adolphe, Adolpho, Adolphus, Dolf, Dolph and Dolphus.

Eventhough it's Hitlers name I think it would be a good name for a dog.

strudle, although that is probably best for a smaller dog.

how about BONN, that is the name of a place in Germany

you want a name that is easy for the dog to recognise, one or two sylables is best. You also want a name that you won't feel embarresed to call out in the park.
