I personally feel that is ok cause its not like your saying your pressing what some society says 'God' created, your just simply using a form to preserve the flower. You can also say that this flower meant so much to you that why not press it in a bible, or something that brings meaning to you. So no I don't think it is a sin and if 'God' frowned upon people for doing that then non of us should get into heaven.

Interesting question. On the one side the Bible is to be respected as God's Holy word. Therefore we may not want to throw it across the room or something like that. But, it is not merely the physical Bible that is holy, but the words the Bible contains. It can be just as Holy when spoken. Thus what is truly to be respected is the actual words.
Often people write in their Bibles- underlining things that have meaning for them. This can be a way to interact with the text, making it special and personal for you. By doing this you are still respecting the word, and making use of the book itself as a tool to interact with the word.
I didn't pick up that you meant any evil to God's word by putting a flower in it, on the contrary you might have even been worshipping God by thanking Him for His creation and using keeping the flower in your Bible can be a reminder of His role as creator.

There are other books useful to press flowers. At least you picked up and opened the Bible.
No I wouldn't think you've desecrated Gods word with the flower.

lol It is certainly not wrong, Only, I would suggest you get another Bible that you can read (if you are pressing flowers in your Bible, it would become rather awkward to read). In any case you give me the impression you haven't opened your Bible, or that particular one, in six years,
The Bible is not a "Holy Book" as a physical entity. It is paper and ink. The words, the message within, is divine.

Some Christians might find it offensive, phone books tend to make better flower presses, and I couldn't see anyone really caring what ma bell thinks about using her book in such ways.

No, it's a holy thing to do. Flowers in the Bible, that is what Jesus would have wanted.

Does the Holy Spirit convict you of it? To me, I would more likely think it is a special place in your Holy Bible. Why don't you read the page and see?

If God created all things .. .and God created flowers, why would God be offended if you pressed God's beautiful Creation in God's Book ... the Bible?
