Both dresses are beautiful and I do agree that the second one is for more of a formal wedding. However you also have to go with what fits you best.
Typically a short bride looks best in and empire waistline. This help create an illusion of height.
A Tall bride can wear a skirt with many tiers or flounces.
A Thin bride or top heavy bride will do well to fill out their figure with a basque waist and full skirt like the second one.
And if all else fails take your mother with you. The one that takes her breath away is usually the right one.

I love this one:

Which is the second one. I think it would be really beautiful on whoever decides to wear it.

They're both pretty, but very different styles. If you haven't already, you should try them on to see how they fit your body type. The one you choose should also reflect the formality of your wedding. I think the one with the fuller skirt is more formal than the other. In the end, you need to choose the one that makes you feel beautiful. Good luck!

I like the first one (Julie) the best. It's simple elegant, slimming, absolutely beautiful. The second one is too much. The skirt part is too fluffy. It overwhelms the rest of the dress. Besides, that girl was very thin and I thought it made her behind look well, a little big.

Both are absolutely gorgeous. However, to know which one looks great on you we need some more information. Height, weight, body shape, skin colour, etc. My personal preference is the second one because I like that type of gathering in the fabric but my sister's best friend had a dress exactly like the first one and she looked absolutely gorgeous in it.

I like the first one best, it actually looks a lot like mine (which I got at davids bridal) the second seems a bit much, are you getting married in doors our out? It might be too hot in the second one and you may not be able to dance or move around with all that dress behind you!

The first dress is nice, but I just see it in another color as a prom dress for some reason. I like the capri royale but my FAVORITE Maggie Sottero is the Capri Marie. If I had my way, that's what I would be wearing!!! Good luck, no worries, you'll be beautiful! Congratulations

I like the first one...the second one has too much going on. I say leave the ruffles and layers for the wedding cake. The first one says elegance and sophistication after all you make the dress not the other way around. Let your natural beauty shine through! :)!

They are both GORGEOUS dresses (you have good taste). If you are having a very formal wedding I'd go with the second choice. If your wedding is more simple, go with the first. Either dress is absolutely beautiful - they are both roughly the same cut but I'd still try them both on! Congratulations & good luck!!!

they both are beautiful. The first one i like the back, but the front looks more promish to me. The second one I absolutely love! But it looks very formal so I wouldn't pick that unless you are having a formal wedding. Either way they are both beautiful and you should pick what will make you happy! good luck:)
