they have bleaching kits at the store, you need to buy the kind for your hair not for cleaning..

Usually it's the powder kind, mixed with peroxide of different strengths for different purposes.
Some powder bleach has a blue hue to it, to counter yellowing when lightening.

it all depends on what you want to do.If you want frost,which means streaking then you use basic white with 40% cream peroxide...If you want to color your entire head you need a full head bleach that does not hurt to get on the scalp....which you can purchase both at sallys.
