It is wood and coal and cost almost $600 the winter of 05. Is $350 asking 2 much? It is like new. No scrathes or dents. All firebricks are in awesome shape. Not cracked or broken. I include 2 3x5 ft fireboads, all the piping, the ash rake and ash bucket and a 15 lb bag of coal.
Maybe the price is 2 high. Is that why I haven't sold it yet?
Are there some catch phrases or something that I should use to get ppls attention?
I am in Maine and it is getting cold.
This year we moved into a mobile home so I can't use it.

Check out http://www.craigslist.com and list it there in the classifieds.

Also check your local "freebie" papers that allow free classified ads.

Just list the benefits and what condition it's in and a price:

Save up to $1500 this Winter!

Say goodbye to cold nights and empty bank accounts when you heat your home with this wood & coal woodstove.

New in 2005 and am willing to let go for $350 - includes two 3x5 fireboards, all piping, ash rake & bucket, along with a 15lb bag of coal.

Give that ad a shot or use it to get your creative juices flowing.

Ad writing is all about the "benefits" of the product or service you are selling! Remember the 4 P's of marketing, product, place, price and promotion. Seems so simple, but very important.

You want to emphasize "immediate" and "right here." You want to describe the benefits, it works great, ease of installation, and trouble free service. Price is important, but don't play that card. Let the prospect ask about the price. Sell the benefits!
