If you already know that you're "skinny as a twig almost" then why are you asking if you're fat?

You know you're going to get answers from people who have been tricked by the media into thinking that everyone who is a normal weight is really fat. So why bother asking? You're not proving a point or anything by asking this, since millions of other girls your age and younger have asked this question over and over on Y!A and gotten the same answers. Society is sick. You know this. Take your energy and put it into answering the questions of all those girls here on Y!A around your age who have a majorly skewed body image.

That is perfect. Your BMI is 20.7, which is considered to be very healthy. Don't listen to the morons here saying to lose 20lb, that is just ridiculous and shows how ignorant they are about what are acceptable weight ranges for different heights. It's like some people forget that the taller you are, the more you will weigh, can people really be that dumb! Anyway you are definitely fine, so don't ever think you are fat, because you are sound very slim.

Take care : )

No, you're not fat. You're body mass index is 20.9, which is on the 49th percentile for your age and height. You could weigh anything from 123-169lbs at your age and height. I would not suggest trying to lose to 123. That would probably be very unhealthy in your case. Just eat healthily and get plenty of exercise. At 5.8 3/4" and 140 pounds you are tall and thin and probably have quite a fast metabolism, which needs to be well fed.

i think you just want to hear people tell you that your not fat, other wise you wouldn't be so touchy about the stupid t*ats on here, everyone on answers can tell you your fine you wont beleave you are untill you know it your self.

You sound great, and healthy. Seriously.

Just remember to watch out for "Calories from Fat" on labels. Even tho Calories are good, Cals from Fat and "Trans Fat" are really bad for all of us becuz they're hard to burn off.
