Very hard to tell because you didn't mention if you have any dependents. If you have depedents then you will bring back a good refund. Go to www.irsgov.com and they have charts to help you better figure out where you at. I knew my refund before I went and filed my takes due to there info and charts.
Also go to www.hrblock.com and use there tax estimator ansd they al;so thell you on the dollar what to expect.

I have to make the following assumptions. If any of my assumptions are false, the answer is way off.

NO dependents.
NOT Living in one of the following states: TX, LA, CA, WY, NV or any other community property state.
Your Taxable wages are 40045. It is very unusual to have Social Security wages LOWER than taxable wages by this amount.
NO retirement contributions.

Refund $2548
