How small are these "slugs"? Do they dry out and die after a little while? If they are the size of a grain of rice, most likely your cat has tapeworm. Tapeworm can be picked up by eating critters from outside or from sharing a littlebox with a cat that already has tapeworm. A quick trip to the vet can cure tapeworm, the cat just needs a one time dose of meds. I guess the bottom line is, take your cat (s) to the vet with a stool sample and get him/her/them checked out as soon as possible.

Are your sure they're slugs. Slugs aren't parasitic. If they are really slugs, they are known to eat dog and cat food. If they are not really slugs, they may be worms. Tapeworms some times drops their segments. THey are often described as looking like rice. A key is that tapeworm segments have no eyes. You should see them in the stool too.

I would suggest getting the cats checked by your vet to be sure. If you can get a sample of the slugs it would help your vet identify what the organism is.

Unless your an expert the only thing you can do is take your cat to the vet. It most likely has worms. You need to hurry before it is too late.

Sometimes slugs can get stuck to the cats fur. I had a cat that used to come in with them stuck to him. It is also possible that your cat is bringing them in deliberately, my cat brings worms in!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to take them to the vet, they may have worms, or some other type of parasite.

oh yuck this sounds like bits of tapeworm, your cat needs to be wormed urgently for your sake as well as hers. She will also need to be treated for fleas cos they carry the tapeworm eggs in their system. Dont delay.
