A man should be ready to settle down when he has a good career and is dating someone seriously. Most men won't settle down until they are in there late twenties.

After he has finished college and has sown his last wild seed. I would say around 26 or 27. Don't get in no hurry, marriage is for life, or is suppose to be, enjoy life and have fun while you can, you are only young one time. Make the best of it. Growing up and being responsible for someone else, a wife, then children is a big responsibility. I am not saying marriage is awful or anything like that, it is a commitment that you should take very serious and be ready to settle down.

A man is ready to settle down when he is ready for committment and willing to start a family. This may be at age 20 or even 50....However it is important that he is in a stable job first thats pays well that can support himself and his family.....Makes no sense being ready to settle down if u are not ready to prepare for a possible family.

The ages vary so much. But I think people in general who settle down and get married too young are a recipe for disaster. 9 times out of 10, it'll end in an early divorce.

Age doesn't have anything to do with it. You have to ask yourself if your are into family, into birthdays and holidays and remembering all of them for your family and your girls family. Do you think you would be a good dad? What was your dad like? Do you want to be responsible for keeping a roof over everyones head? Are you into committing to one person right now? It sure wouldn't be a sin if you weren't. What's nasty is when someone settles down and then splits up and the kids have to suffer for it.

I don't think there's a certain age.

I think when they met the right person at the right time in his life...then he's ready to settle down.

Being ready to have kids is kinda the same thing....when the time is right and everything lines up the way he wants it to be...then he's ready to be a father.

Too bad it doesn't happen that way most of the time.

depends on the guy. i take a long time selecting a mate, i personally want to settle down now. however the typical thing i see is after marriage, it takes about 3 years or so to establish a family, provided it wasn't accidental. find a house, see the world a little, then have a family.

everybody is different, every body matures at a different rate, so it basically depends on the person, from personal experience live life a little bit, sow some wild oats, have some fun. this way once you do settle down you won't be wishing you were still out with all your single friends chasing some strange tail

There is no magical age. When you meet a woman that you and you cannot imagine your life without her in it...
When you can admire an attractive woman but say to yourself "she is hot, but not worth losing the best thing that has ever happened to me".
When you start thinking about having children with a women that makes you feel this way... start thinking of what a good mother she would be.
In other words... when you are in love.
