If homosapiens - mankind - emerged around 200,000 years ago, why did God take so long to send his only begotten son?

The simple answer is that the tale is fiction. Christians suppose that God created Jesus for the purpose of convincing God to remit sins, but that notion is just as silly as it sounds.

Nice question. And the answer is, He didn't take so long. There have been many Sons of God. If you think that ONLY Christians are the authority on God, the soul, the spiritual master, and our relationship to God, then you will hear an incomplete answer. God has manifested Himself and His representatives countless times on earth. The bible is not the only documentation with the authority to answer the questions, and it's not even the most authoritive on the subject of God, or history.

I don't know how long mankind was around before Jesus came...I doubt anyone does, for sure...but whether it was 200,000 years or 10,000 years, or whatever, doesn't really matter, because Jesus came for everyone, on both sides of the cross.
I don't see why anyone ought to report this question...

What makes you think mankind has been around that long but be that as it may, if people know the bible at all, they will realize that the people before Jesus had so many examples of God speaking to them..then they had Moses Law so that they could sacrifice lambs etc and bring offerings etc for their sins...but, mankind being as nasty as it is, always thought it could do as it pleased..that it could go ahead and sin as much as it liked..no matter how God communicated with them. He loved us so much that there was only one sacrifice that would pay for all those who wanted to be His..and that was to send His own Son to pay for oue sins...so I guess it boils down to the fact that when humankind din't care how they disobeyed God..He never gave up on the ones who would still come to Him. And people still hate Him? I think people only want to do what they want today..and they want to believe what they want, no matter how many times God shows Himself in different ways..all because He loves us and wants us all to come and love Him.....soon it will be too late for people to get to know Him..isn't that a shame.

Why should that question get you reported?

Timing is everything. God knew the time was right.

Look at all that was going on then with the Roman Empire. It was a significant time.

Maybe He was waiting for somebody to build enough roads so that word could spread.

I guess man was pretty cool for a long time, but got progressively worse until God was like, I have to do something.

Why is that a crazy question? The bible has an answer for you. There is a verse that says God sent His son just at the right time.

God's timing is always perfect. You can trust Him on that.

God`s plans for humanity always follow His own determined timespan and we would have to have the mind of God to know the hidden mysteries of life and creation.

cause our concept of time and Gods concept are different
-One day is like 1,000 years,
(2Pet.3:8. But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. )
