Well calling your doctor about a medical concern is never a bad idea.

Have you lost a lot of weight lately? Have you been eating poorly? That's been known to stop periods.

Stress is a major culprit, too. Years after my period became regular I missed 3 months, too. And it was because I was so incredibly stressed.

So, see, there's lots of things it could be. It's really nothing to be freaked out over, but it is a good thing to talk to your doctor about just in case.

go to doctor and explain for how long you haven't had you period, he will ask do you have sex?, are you on the pill?, , with my own daughters some started out younger at the 13 then they went thorough a period of time the had nothing for a few years but everything was OK, then i had another daughter who who went to the doctor and the doctor found out she had block ovary and then had surgery then it started back up they haven't problem since so the answer is go and make appointment to be on the safe side be sure everything is ok you can never been to safe when it come to health issues so yes go to see a Doctor everything might be OK

This is not unusual in some cases. You don;t say whether you are on any medication, including the contraceptive pill. Any of these can cause a peiod to be absent as a result of side effects or the raised level of hormone as in contaceptive.

If you are not on medication than by all means seek further advice from your physician.

Some girls have sometimes changes in the period, don't worry about it, i suggest you speak with your mother and tell her about the problem and she will look for the best doctor for you.

Remember your body is incredible, if the period stop was for a reason it will start again in the moment you never expect, be patient.

I would see a doctor about it. Have you been under a lot of stress lately. Extreme stress can mess up your cycle. I know from experience. But I'd still talk to a doctor about it. There could be a problem. Better safe than sorry...

You may have too low percentage of body fat to menstruate. If you have not had sexual intercourse and have not been visited by an archangel, you are not pregnant. You did not say whether you had sexual intercourse. If you did, then you have to find out.Get tested and face the truth.See a doctor and be completely open and honest with them.

Is your mom going thru Menopause, or post-Menopausal already?

My period's never been regular. "Regular" for me is about 6 times a year becuz our bodies react to the other women around us. My mom's post-Menopausal so her period's gone (lucky her!) and the doctor said it's okay for me to have fewer cycles.

Well, when in doubt see an expert, would suggest getting a test and then talking to a physician. Good luck.
