how to get a free pregnancy book??????????

I need to find out info on getting free pregnancy books. I live in the US and a link or phone number would really help. Thanks

email me your add. i think i still have some, well now that i think about it i gave them to the neighbor last year. you can get some from pregnant wemon or form thrift stores. cheap too. some crisis center have them for free adn moms have them. i didnt pay for any of mine and i had like 10 books. great ones too. my favorite was "the compleate book of pregnancy adn childbirth"

Well, some doctors have resources that they can give you that will give you basic information, even books sometimes. I know when i first got pregnant, I had to be referred to a doctor by my local health unit, and they gave me plenty of pamphlets and even a book in the meantime. There are also pregnancy and parenting magazines, and websites that you can use to get current information. If you have frequent access to the internet, you could sign up for weekly/daily e-newsletters. There are some pretty good ones out there. The ones i get are from www.whattoexpect.com, www.pregnancyweekly.com, and www.todaysparent.com (canadian magazine). But i'm pretty sure there are plenty more out there. You could try www.babycenter.com as well. For more books,check garage/yard sales and other moms with young children, and if all else fails, borrow some from the library.

freecycle has almost anything you want, as long as you're willing to pick it up. do a search on yahoo for freecycle and whichever city and state you live in. its a yahoo group, so there's pretty much one everywhere.
