It bleaches hair. which means it becomes a frosty shade of white. But it doesnt dye it. It simply removes all the color.

peroxide is a bleach.
It's very hard on the hair, dries it out and causes breakage. It's also not kind to the scalp.
Don't use peroxide from the bottle.
Most hair dyes contain it but it's buffered. Use an OTC hair dye, I like Loreal.
Clairol makes your hair feel coated and heavy.

Not exactly, Peroxide opens the pores in your hair and either allows color to be put in or taken out, Peroxide by itself will only strip the color from your hair, It only damages your hair about as bad as any color would, since it's used in the coloring process.

peroxide helps color to develope...but if you try it on your hair without any color in tube...you can get dry hair as a result
Very important is that you dont put very strong peroxide couse that is a solution that makes hair lighter.
even if you will find some colors that say that they not damaging hair couse there is no amonium in them be careful-amonium is until now the only one chemical that is prooved to be "good "for hair...other things are not prooved as yet.DON'T DIE HAIR ONLY WITH PEROXIDE...THIS IS NOT THE SOLUTION FOR DIEING THE HAIR...MUST BE IN COMBINATION WITH COLOR!!!!!

NO peroxide by it's self does not dye hair......Use it alone amd it will make your hair orange......It's the catalyst the allows hair dyes to work.........20 volume is the one used with most hair dyes...... the higher the volume of peroxide the more lightening ou will get......and the more damage!!!!!!!!!!.
