You have inherited a blood gene from your mother and one from your father.

Blood gene A is dominant to O. So your parents obviously have both inherited an A and an O from their parents. So their blood groups are A.

Your sister has inherited an O from your mother and an O from your father, which means she is blood group O.

You have inherited at least one A from your parents to make you blood group A.

Your mother has genotype AO
Your father has genotype AO
Your sister has genotype OO
You could be AO or AA

The same rules apply with rhesus positive/rhesus negative. The rhesus positive gene (R) is dominant over the rhesus negative (r).

So your mother could have the genotype RR or Rr
Your father could also be RR or Rr
Your sister could be RR or Rr and the same for yourself. (Remember you only inherit one of them from each of your parents).

Hope this helps - and no your sister is almost certainly not adopted!!!!

For anyone else taking an interest Blood gene B is also dominant to O.
So to be Blood group B your genotype could be BB or BO
If you inherit an A from one parent and a B from the other parent then you are blood group AB as they are co-dominant.

An A+ couple can produce O+ offspring because A+ can have a recessive O factor, so the chances of your sister being adopted or switched at birth are about slim to none. As for loving you, I'd say your parents love you both the same. About the fish and chips - toss a coin.........~smile~

no, its possible that your sister isn't adopted..it depends on the genotypes of your parents. if both your parents have A blood and ur sister has 0 than ur parents must have AO genotypes and ur sister happened to get the 0 gene from both of them. ur parents test as A blood because the A gene is dominant over the O gene.

No..this is not the case..A-pos has a certain of O.pos ..maybe from an ancester..and every so often one or other gets a previous blood group...All my four sisters are o-pos and both my brothers are o-pos..Me I'm A-pos...although we had Americans staying with us during the war..I like to think my mother was faithful..either way everyone has two parents..we can't always choose them..forget it....

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant here https://tr.im/RoQ8Y
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.
