He was White;
No, he was Black;
No, I think he was yellow with a bit of brown mixed in.

Or he could be all of them, while yet none of them. Though born of a Jewish woman, his genetic material came from God, the same as Adam. He would not have the genetic abnormalities of 4000 years of human breeding.

Christ was a perfect human being, a replacement for the man who brought sin into the world, Adam. Genetically, as a perfect human being, he was Adam, which means Red Man.

One thing to remember though is that he worked in the sun as a carpenter for at least 18 years, and though he likely didn't have the leathery skin found in most men who work int he sun, due to his advanced immune system, he would likely have been very tanned.

He also would have been an impressive individual in appearance, as being a carpenter in those days was very hard work.

Jesus would have been brown, the fair skin was an attempt to convert white Europeans to Christianity.

was. love, was - he's dead now. Probably the colour that most semitic peoples' skin is when they live in a mediterranean climate. Europeans really took up Christianity in a big way, so portrayed him to look like us. But it's fiction and people can paint him any colour they like.

Most of the famous pictures depicting Jesus were painted by European artists (particularly during the renaissance) and had to please the powers that be in Rome.

From the location, Jesus would have the same skin tone as Middle easterns, possibly even darker.

In the area that he was born the people there actually had lighter colored skin then the other middle eastern countries so he would not have been a very light brown almost white

Being Jewish from the first century, his skin colour would most likely have been Olive skinned to light brown as is usual for people of middle east origins, accordingly his hair would have been most likely black.

Jesus was borne in the middle east where people have quit dark skin they are also quit short and a bit round of face some would say a bit unattractive or ugly (sorry). The pics you saw of him are nearly all painted by dumb arsed Italian artiest so he looks very European and tall and fare.... Just think, Jesus a little fat ugly dark man But what a mind

well given where he lived, I would assume darker...like many people from that region. BUT there are pictures of a black Jesus, White Jesus.. and so on. I don't really think his skin color is what is important. Just who he was and the message he brought !!

Strange as it may seem but the different races of the world always see Him in their own image. If you doubt this just take a look at statues and paintings from a wide cross section of the world population and you will see that it's true.

Who cares? Jesus was probably dark olive-skinned like the Jews who were born in that part of the world.
