I understand that credit card companies don't usually report late payments unless they are 30 or 60 days overdue, is this true?

Yes it is, the only report if your past due 30 or more days. That applies to most company's

True. You will usually be assessed a late fee if a day late. However, most companies do not report until 30 days late. To be sure call and confirm with your credit card company. On a credit report it will begin to show 30 and over days late.

I am not 100% sure but I would not think so. They usually have a late fee that you pay but I dont believe this CC companies have them time to report when someone is 2 or 3 days late. That would be wasting a lot of time and there would be too many people doing that anyways. Your best bet is to call them and ask.

Late is late. Who knows what or when they report it.
