Since when does the FDA know how old you need to be to be an RN???
As long as one has graduated from an accredited program and is eligible to take the NCLEX, one can be a RN. Some two-year programs mean a RN can be licensed at age 19.

There is no age limit. I went straight into nursing school at 18, graduated and passed my NCLEX-PN at 20. I have been an LPN for 9 years now and I am going to start college again this coming Fall to get my RN. As long as you graduate from an accredited school of nursing and can pass your boards, it doesn't matter how old you are.

There is not an age limit, really, but you do have to get through all of the schooling, which will basicaly mean that most everybody who is a nurse is at least in his/her 20s
