Solicitations for everykind of insurance continue to arrive in my mailbox. Some are so personally addressed that I must consider that my identity has been stolen/abused to some degree. How can I erase inacurate state held misinformation for I feel that this is the source of blatant exploitation exorcised by unscroupulus individuals?

it's likely your name/address got put on a mailing list, and it's being used to send multiple solicitations. That can happen without having your identity stolen. If you're listed in the phone book, in any public registry, someone can get your mailing details and sell them.

If you are concerned about identiity theft, get your banking and credit information changed, and notify social security.
