I love to debate.
Let me clarify, a debate (to me) is a respectful, orderly conversation in which both parties are open minded and willing to at least consider the others points.

So why is it that everything here has to be an argument? All of us, atheist, Christian, and Muslim alike, have repeatedly posted the same posts and links, and have incited the same heated arguments for like...since Yahoo made this site. So, if you are here because you are open-minded and want to learn something, then cool, but if you are just here to be a jerk and argue, why don't you just log off the comp, go outside, find a g/f or b/f and get a life?

P.S.- Because I know someone is start calling me closed minded for being a Christian and blah blah... yes, I am here to learn from all different beliefs and walks of life, but I HIGHLY doubt that I will learn anything that will make me walk away from God.

I love the endless arguments, and very much like the people who are here to learn from/teach others. And while I understand the want to drop the ones who are here to be jerks, I very much disagree.

You can learn a lot from a jerk; and besides, they often come up with some great jokes. Ideas both good and bad are a huge amount of fun. And the monkeys can be a challenge, see if you can outwit them. It is always fun to put others in their place when they treat others as lesser than they are; and if it turns out you can't do it, all well. At least you had some fun with it before you lost.

I am not here to win an argument. I am here to spread the word of God. To spread Gospel, the good news that God loves you. I normally answer questions contrary to my own believes. I am not here for points. I love to do this answer thing, but then when I start to get too frustrated I leave for a break.Sometimes I feel sad because I really care about the destiny of others. But I respect their free will. So does God.

I know I am in a winning team so I do not have to call anyone stupid. I am here to learn why people believe in different things and I also learn a lot of my own faith.

You are correct on the surface but it may go much deeper then you think. I am starting to see something more here. It all started with a comment someone made to my answer in December. It said ":To a_blvr: You statement made about as much sense to me as a cat talking to a dog." They were trying to be a jerk but there was great truth in that statement. My answer was on a first grade level but they could not see the simple logic that GOD gives to us. They were totally incapable of understanding. But they are driven to stay here even though they have no Religion or Spirituality. They think they are just "playing with the Jesus freaks" But maybe it's something they are seeking that they don't even realize. Romans 8 tries to explain this but it is hard to grasp as believers.

I agree that some human beings merely are not meant to be in a dedicated relationship in any respect, or no longer with one man or woman. i imagine extra often then no longer notwithstanding, we do not pick the right man or woman and it has develop into so 'recurring' to resign on one yet another and flow on. various human beings in previous generations did no longer have a 'ideal' relationship both yet they commemorated the dedication.. human beings are not prepared to attempt this as a lot presently. no longer merely in relationships both, various human beings are continuously searching for the bigger, extra effective, next maximum acceptable component to assuage the insatiable urge for food that our society has developed and it has develop into an endless cycle for most. The pursuit of added, extra, extra. yet as many also locate out the grass isn't continuously greener on the different area. :)

WellI too to love a debate, and a logical arguement. From an early age,I was warned never get into an arguement about politics or religion. As with these subjects logic flies out the window.Provided the debate does'nt become too heated or personal,I'm in it.
I believe in the old maxim,I may disagree with what you say,but I will defend to the death your right to say it

I do! Lots of fun. Great stress relief for me. Thank you for being (one of the few) open minded Christians. I respect the fact you want to learn about other religions and are not just here to preach. Thank you :)

I'm probably one of the most open-minded atheists here.
Why can't we all just agree that there are assholes among
us all Atheists,Christians,Muslims,even Pagans.
(but hey,we all need a little fun sometimes.)
