The bible plainly teaches that Adam fathered sons and daughters who are not named in the bible. It seems rather straightforward that Cain would have married a sister, or perhaps a niece.

(Genesis 5:4) Adam after his fathering Seth came to be eight hundred years. Meanwhile he became father to sons and daughters.

There is no Scriptural evidence that Cain was black. There is nothing in the bible to teach that the ***** race was cursed in any way.

(Acts 10:34-35) God is not partial, but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him

The mark could not have been the black race because the line of cain perished in the flood of Gen 6. Who was Cain's wife? Depends upon who you want to believe. If you take the biblical stance that Adam and Eve were the very first humans then Cain obviously had to marry one of his sisters or near relatives. The Bible does not give a time frame when this incident took place. The Bible gives us little facts to say exactly when it occurred, so it could have been several hundred years for they did live to quite an old age. God in that time frame allowed to happen. Just as He allowed it to happen after the flood, when He saved 8 souls aboard Noah's ark. The black race came actually from Noah's son Ham who migrated to the regions of Africa and that region. I could explain it a lot further but that would take a lot of space.

The mark was a specific identifiable mark - much like the mark will be in the end times with the mark of the beast in revelation and often is associated together.

this mark was not the first black human.cain was marked so that the future generations would know he was the first murderer.people lived like 800 years back then, check that out its in the bible,so no doubt he would see countless generations and all of the decendants of adam and eve would see this mark.also by cain and able were not adam and eves only children, others had no doubt grown and spred out by that time.so there was probably quite a few human groups at that time.yes he did marry his sister.when closer to perfection and with few humans on earth JEHOVAH allowed this.as time went in and this was no longer neccessary so GOD said not to do this anymore.when perfect adam and eve carried the genes to produce any color and various different looks.they were created by god and so all human dna was encoded into them.even noahs sons were different color and he had one wife.if you still have that bible story book look inthere about the tower of babel this is when Jehovah most likely seperated the various races.you should also contact a witness in your area.look in the phone book under kingdom halls.anyone there would be happy to answer things from the bible.thats the key to the truth if it is truly from the bible.if it cannoy be proven from the bible than it is mans thoughts and not gods.be wary of anyone who says its the truth but cant show you from GODS own word.

Wow you have really been fed much crap. Cain did marry a relative as all people came for Adam and Eve. The law came through Moses and was not at the time of Adam and Eve. The mark was to spare his life and did not make him black. The story of the sister that the man was afraid of being killed was the story of Abraham who's half sister was Sarah and he told King Abemelech Sarah was his sister thinking the King would have him killed so that he could have his wife. The story of the Angels breeding with man is found in Genesis and was ....to sum it all up you really need to read the bible rather than taking peoples words for what it says. Edit to Natesgirl the JW's will also tell you Christ is the arch angel Michael and thet only 144000 go ot heaven! Please do not relegate your thinking to the Jw's...Read the Bible.

Genesis 4:17 says, "Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch." Who was his wife? It is implied in the biblical text that Cain married one of his sisters. Several facts lead us to this conclusion.
First, it is clear that Adam and Eve had a number of children. Genesis 5:4 says, "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." Since Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, and since God had commanded them (and their descendants) to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28), it seems reasonable to conclude that Cain married one of his many sisters. It is also possible that he married a niece or even a grandniece.
One must keep in mind that in the early years of the human race there were no genetic defects that had yet developed as a result of the fall of man. By the time of Abraham, God had not yet declared this kind of marriage to be contrary to His will (see Genesis 20:12). Laws governing incest apparently did not become enacted until the time of Moses (Lev 18:7-17; 20:11,12,14,17,20,21). Hence, there was no prohibition regarding marrying a sister (or niece or grandniece) in the days of Cain.

Races
According to the Bible, all people today descended from the survivors of a great Flood - Noah's family, who in turn descentded from Adam and Eve (Gen 1:11). There are many stories, from many parts of the world, of a great Flood that only several people survived to repopulate the earth.
But today we have many different groups, often called "races" with what seem to be greatly differing features. The most obvious of these is skin color. Some see this as a reason to doubt the Bible's record of history. They believe that the various groups could have arisen only by evolving separately over tens of thousands of years. However, this does not follow from the evidence.
The Bible tells us how the population that descended from Noah's family had one language and were living together and disobeying God's command to "fill the earth" (Gen 9:1, 11:4). God confused their language, causing a break-up of the population into smaller groups, which scattered over the earth (Gen. 11:8-9). Modern genetics shows how, following such a break-up of a population, variations in skin color, for example, can develop in only a few generations. And there is good evidence to show that the various groups of people we have today have NOT been separated for huge periods of time.
One could say there is really only one race - the human race. The Bible teaches us that God has "made from one blood all nations of men" (Acts 17:26. Scripture distinguishes people by tribal or national groupings, not by skin color or physical features. Clearly, though, there are groups of people who have certain features (e.g.skin color) in common, which distinguish them from other groups. We prefer to call these "people groups" rather than "races," to avoid the evolutionary and racist connotations that have become associated with the word "race."
All peoples can intermarry and produce fertile offspring. This shows that the biological differences between the "races" are not great. In fact, the DNA differences are trivial. The DNA of any two people in the world would typically differ by just 0.2%. Of this, only 6% can be linked to racial categories; the rest is "withinrace" variation.
This genetic unity means, for instance, that white Americans, although ostensibly far removed from black Americans in phenotype, can sometimes be better tissue matches for them than other black Americans.

The bible - depending upon which one you read - says "the sons of Adam and the daughters of man." There were people here and every one bred with them. It's just that those sons of Adam were some how special.

So far all of your answers are correct. One clarification I would like to make for djmantx is that although you do have a number of Bible stories jumbled in your head, this is of no fault of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

The way djmantx explained those stories is exactly how any of Jehovah's Witnesses would explain them.
