You can go online and type in your local golf courses and most will give the cost for a round of golf some will give discounts for time of day. Most public will cost between 10-50 dollars per person.

Avg. green fees on a public course is 11-15. If you rent a cart it will cost another 10-12 dollars. So for a total of twenty to twenty five you can enjoy 4 and a half hours of grief unless you go the driving range and learn how to move the ball forward and not hold up the entire course.

Golf can be affordable if you go to the right courses and you have access to hand-me-down or used equipment.
On the low end:
Round of golf = $15
Hand-me-down or borrowed clubs = $0
A few used golf balls = $5 for a dozen
On the high end:
Round of golf = $200
Brand new Driver, woods, irons, wedges, and putter = $3000
Top of the Line balls = $50 for a dozen
So there is quite a range. It can be accessible to many people, but there is also a premium product that is very expensive.

I've paid as little as $10 for greens fee (at a really crappy course) and you can pay as much as $400, plus cart fees. I'd guess that the average in most areas is $40-$50 dollars.

hmm, well, it depends, a crappy course is only about 6-10 $
a decent but short course is bout 7-11 $
a long but not difficult course would prob be 10-16 $
a short but difficult course would be 20-25 $
and i very nice, long and difficult course would be 35-50 $
a pro course thats public would be 100 $ or more for 18 holes../
it all just depends, find a course that you want to try, thats public since you dont want membership, then search it up, and itll tell you how much...
