Two commandments are primary: "Love God with heart, soul, mind, and strength; and love your neighbor as yourself."

Nowhere does the Bible say that a Christian in this life will ever be completely perfect or will never sin. As long as we are on this earth, we will always struggle against temptation and sin. That is one reason Jesus taught His disciples to pray (in The Lord's Prayer), "Forgive us our sins ...

What 10 commandments are not followed by anyone? Christians break the 10 commandments as well as anyone. It's a sin thing.

If you are speaking about the 10 Commandments, they are not binding upon Christians any more than the 600 or so other laws of Moses.

The shorter answer is "which two Commandments ARE followed by Christians?" Some seem to pick and choose which ones are relevant on per-case basis.

There are several... Remember the Sabbath, animal sacrifices, feasts, yearly trips to Jerusalem, passover, the Levitical priesthood, and several of the ceremonies commanded for worship in the temple worship are a few.

1. Have no other Gods - look at anyone's calendar (Christians too!) or checkbook ,and that'll tell you where their priorities are.

Does anyone remember the last commandment Jesus gave?

LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

It seems like so many people have such a shallow understanding of Christianity.

YES there are a lot of bigots and idiots and the Bible has been used by THOUSANDS of people to justify horrible things.

But does anyone remember that Jesus was sent to earth to remind us to care for the meek, the poor, the imprisioned (and so on..) He came down to show us what we were not figurung out on our own....

The Bible does not tell us to Hate anyONE. Yes - it does say to hate SIN, but sin is just whatever is keeping an individual away from a relationship with God.

(God doesn't hate people, he just hates when their actions cause them to separate from the blessings he has in store for them.)

So for ya'll who think every Christian out there is a self-rightous in your face - hope they all burn in hell - kind of person, try giving those of us who AREN"T like that a fighting chance once in a while. MOST OF US aren't that way. Just because we don't shove our views down everyone's throat doesn't mean we are uneducated or unsound in our belief. Sure, we want others to know the amazing things that have happened in our lives because of God - but we aren't doormats for anyone else to tromp on and curse at either. We are no more responsible for every bad act of past 'Christians' than every muslim is responsible for 9-11. or than every scientist is for nuclear weapons or than every ..........

You've askesd a really good question here. It really got me going.I hope I didn't get too far off topic.

Honor Thy Father and Mother
Remember the Sabbath Day and Keep it Holy

And: Christians are some of the most judgemental people I know. I thought that was God's job.

WE ALL fall short from the glory of God. We do not get saved because we follow the commandments so good. We get saved only by the mercy and grace of God. If you end up in hell, do not say that you followed the commandments. ..because we all fall short. If you want to be saved. then tell Him that you are accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

One of em is keeping the Sabbath holy. The Sabbath is the Seventh day and the Seventh day is Saturday. The other one I would say is coveting, because every damn body wants what everybody else has.

1 John 3:4-6

4Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

Break one commandment is like breaking them all. But for those who have accepted the price paid by Jesus Christ for all sin is not under the curse of sin (damnation forever) and therefor not subject to it's power (desolation in life).
