IM NOT SURE BUT I THINK IT WAS A KDFE50A12U.ALSO HAD FREEVIEW. ARE THE REAR PROJECTION TVS AS GOOD AS LCD OR PLASMAS -THERE ARE SO MANY ON THE MARKET , ITS JUST CONFUSING!

Rear projection TVs provide reasonable picture quality for the price. They are not as sharp as LCD. If you are looking for one then Sony is probably the best on. You can find it cheaper at www.empiredirect.co.uk

Have you ever watched an old movie or a TV re-run and noticed how grainy and vague the picture looks?

That's how rear-projection TVs look all the time...

Personally I don't like rear projection screens - you can't see the picture properly from all angles and the pictures not that great on the ones I've seen.

Try 'which?' for recommendations.

rear projection is not very good in well lit rooms, and cant be used for gaming otherwise picture is ok on ones ive seen

you have to be careful with rear projection anything to bright or on the screen for too long "burns" on it. so you couldn't play games etc

no projection TVs have a really funny pic so you'd be waiting money (that's why there going cheap)

well they can be good for a while, but when the bulbs blow it costs you around 500 quid to replace them and think theres 3 in them
