why do guys carry girls?

For a couple of reasons if you're meaning actually carry as in, in the arms.

One is to save the girl from getting wet or muddy or something to that effect.

The other reason being that a little piece of chivalry has shown itself and is still alive and well.

Personally, I just like the feel of a woman in my arms.
