I would have to tell them where to shove it! I am the kind of person that don't like it when people make fun of other people like that and I normally have to say something back!

I wish I had a 100% effective answer for you, but after 50-some years of being tormented about my size, I still don't have a good answer.
It's a bit risky, but I have had some success in turning around and meeting the other person's gaze head-on. Not saying a word -- just looking them dead in the eye.
They tend to get nervous or aggressive. In either case, they know that they've hurt someone's feelings, and if they don't apologize, I'll tell them just that. "I'm a human being, I'm not deaf, and what you just said was uncalled for."
You'd be surprised how many times that people get embarassed and say that they're sorry. If they do, I've succeeding in educating them. If they make more obnoxious remarks, then they're only showing their ignorance, especially in light of what I said earlier.
Either way, I consider it a win.

Most people are just jerks and insecure about their own appearance. We can blame a lot of this criticism on the paranoia in Hollywood.
Beauty is only skin deep. You can be drop dead gorgeous or very handsome, but if your heart is is full of hate, you are not a good person.
I will take kind and nice any day.

Tells those people off, nobody has the right to be cruel especially to people they don't even know. But just remember what they say you shouldn't take personally. People who are mean or bitter to others generally have their own issues going on

Don't take anthing personally. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.
Under any circumstances, simply do your best and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

Just tell them to shut up or you will have him sit on their face. I am big and I let them have about the cruelist thing I can think of to say right back. Like - I may be fat but at least I'm not girly lookin (forGuys) or I may be fat but god at least I know not to come out in public lookin like that (for girls).

Accept such comments as ignorance. The more you and he keep your good humor, the better for you.
